Redacted

Two works on paper, suspended by thread. Black gouache numbers over penciled statistics on human sex trafficking in Reno, Nevada. In one, the statistics are blacked out, redacted, until only the numbers remain. What gets recorded, what gets obscured, and what is finally legible: a count standing in for the people it fails to describe.
